What we don't sell
The maker applies the published rules and shows a readiness status for each market. These are not part of it:
Lab analysis
We don’t test food. Values come from you, your lab or supplier, or a recipe calculation with published ingredient data. Where your product needs a lab analysis, get one.
Expert label review
A review of your label by a food labeling specialist would be a separate service, and we don’t offer it yet. Each market’s rule set is in beta: built from the published rules, not independently reviewed. What that means.
Printing
We make the files. Print them yourself or send the PDF to your label or packaging printer.
Yes. Everything is free during launch. A Starter plan ($10/month) for saved products, market variants and version history will follow later. During launch every supported market, format and download is free, with no watermark and no card to enter.
Why do I need an account to download?
So your product and an unchangeable copy of each label version are saved, and you can update it, download the same version again or reprint it later. It needs only an email and a password. Building, checking and previewing a label need no account, and your draft is kept when you sign up.
What will Starter cost?

Do you offer label reviews or lab analysis?
No. The maker applies the published rules and shows a readiness status, but it doesn't replace a lab or a qualified label reviewer. A review by a food labeling specialist would be a separate service, and we don't offer it yet.

What happens to my labels when Starter launches?
Labels you have downloaded are yours to keep. Nothing you made during launch will be taken away or watermarked, and we will publish exactly what stays free before anything changes.
Can I cancel Starter, or get a refund?
There is nothing to cancel or refund today, because nothing on this site can be bought yet. Starter is planned as a monthly plan you can cancel at any time. Billing, cancellation and refund terms will be published here and in the terms before Starter starts.
Are the labels approved by the FDA or another regulator?
No. No regulator approves nutrition labels in advance, and Nutritional Label Maker is not affiliated with any regulator. Labels are built from the published rules for each market and show what was checked, but you are responsible for the values and for checking each label before printing.
